Welcome to Anstruther Rotary

We are delighted to welcome you to our website. Our club came into existence on 25th July 1951 and is part of the international family of Rotary.

Rotary attracts men and women who wish to serve their communities and who try to make a difference to the lives of others around the world, by giving time knowledge and skills and by helping to raise funds in support of the many in need.

Rotary is the world's largest service organisation for people from an enormous range of backgrounds, of many skills, in many fields of employment, who take a lead in serving their communities. Over 1.2 million members operating through almost 32,000 clubs in 168 countries around the world.

As one of 88 Clubs in our Rotary district which covers the north of Scotland, we are actively involved in local, regional and international projects.  We offer practical and financial assistance - whichever is most needed and is most appropriate. On occasion we will offer both if we can. We also aim to make this FUN and as a club have an enjoyable social calendar.

Our members are committed to our local area and help and support many groups and organisations, including a number of community events. We have perhaps become best known for our 'Christmas Post' - a local Christmas card delivery service - now in it's 28th year.

Over the past three years and just in financial terms we have given over £60,000 for individuals, groups and charities - local, regional and international.

We hope to use our skills and expertise to make a difference in our community by being TRUE in all that we do; being FAIR to everyone we deal with; offering GOODWILL and FRIENDSHIP and making sure that our actions are BENEFICIAL for everyone involved.
